Hitting The Apex: Get to Know the Blogger

My name is Ellie and I have been a Formula One fan since 2021. The first full race I watched was the memorable Emilia-Romanga Grand Prix in that year. However, that was not the first time F1 had been introduced to me. I grew up in a household where Sunday lunch meant race time! My mum was (and still is) a fan of the sport, and it is mainly because of her that I am too!

I have been to one Grand Prix weekend - that being Silverstone 2023. It was the best weekend of my life and so grateful I had the opportunity to go! Other races on my bucket list are: Monza, Spa, Monaco, and Singapore. I will be fortunate enough to attend Silverstone again this year, but will only be going on the Saturday. Thankfully, that's when Pete Tong will be playing his Ibiza classics, so I'll be partying that night no matter what the qualifying results may be!

I have decided to start a blog to write about all things F1 related. The 2024 season is set to be an interesting one - and I can't wait for it to get started. This blog is for absolutely anyone who has an interest in F1, no matter how big or small.

I will explore the intense battles on the Formula One circuit, and give my opinions on the nail-biting races, controversial incidents, and the fierce competition between drivers and teams. I will cover it all - from the seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, to the fiercest competitor F1 has seen recently in Max Verstappen. Ferrari to Aston Martin. Alpine to Williams. Join me as I analyse and discuss the thrilling world of Formula One racing.
